PROJECT SCV | MAKING A TANGIBLE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY

What if impacting the world was as simple as reaching out, just up the street? Well, it might be that simple. Or at least it can start there.

The Sanctuary has been, and will continue, throughout the year to support specific events and projects with our finances, our abilities and our time. Projects and partnerships have included Valley View Elementary, Golden Valley High School, Park Sierra Apartments (Canyon Country), The Village Apartments (Newhall), Single Mother's Outreach, LARC Ranch, homeless students, and more. We are continually looking for ways to come alongside communities in need within the Santa Clarita Valley to make a genuine difference.

Watch below to hear about current and past projects as well as some of our efforts and the positive change we've been able to effect.

SULPHUR SPRINGS PANTRY | 2018

This month we will be giving our finances, beyond the tithe, to come alongside the Sulphur Springs School District to help launch a new Resource Center that will assist the students and families of the 9 area elementary schools in our local community facing a poverty rate that has sky-rocketed over 59% in the past year. Would you consider giving and/or purchasing items towards the on-site pantry? Items needed, include: grade school aged clothing (pants, jackets, etc.), shoes, toiletries, non-perishable food, backpacks, school supplies, etc. Donations can be dropped off Sundays in services or during the week at our church offices Tue-Fri (9am-5pm).

PARK SIERRA SPRING EVENT | 2018

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS | CHRISTMAS 2014

In 2014 we sponsored over a dozen families at Valley View who were in need during the holidays. It included a Christmas turkey, a fully decorated tree and toys for their children. This is the story of the Bashan family.
