What does it mean to be a man? All men ask themselves this question, yet most fail to understand it in some way. This year the men of The Sanctuary are learning to pursue God’s answer to this question through worship, teaching, prayer and dinner. This time we’ll hear from avid mountaineer and adventurer, Joseph Gregory, as he shares a few tales from the trail. Chicken Tacos will be available at 6pm for donations to benefit Project SCV. To put it lightly, Joseph is an avid hiker, mountaineer and all-around adventurer. His travels have led him up (and down) dozens of California peaks, through snow, rain, windstorms, extreme temperatures and life-threatening environments. He has hiked over 500 miles in the last 5 years alone, including every inch of the John Muir trail and the Grand Canyon from "rim to rim" in a single day. Having grown up in Santa Clarita, including his teenage years right here at UTURN, Joseph is a core part of our Sanctuary family. We look forward to having him share with our men on April 8th.
