We gather together on Sunday mornings because God made us to be committed and connected to one another. In this way, we take part as the Body of Christ, but we are also doing something we, as humans, were made to do; we were made to connect.
Not only are we made to be together, but when we gather in Jesus’ name we act as a light to the world. As new people meet us on a Sunday they come in contact with God’s presence (For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them – Matthew 18:20 NLT).
Everyone matters. It is only as each believer takes their place by bringing their gifts and talents to their church congregation that growth happens (He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love – Ephesians 4:16 NLT).
In our community we are each like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Each piece is unique and has a specific place where they fit. It is only as each piece fits into place that the puzzle is complete and able to be viewed in all its beauty.
Here at The Sanctuary, the main way we help people find their gifts and talents (and the place where they can begin to grow) is through Partnership. Each individual is asked to participate in and complete a simple, but formalized process where we can identify your giftings and have a mutual level of understanding and commitment.
The process involves:
1. Attending each of the four Partnership classes called, Cultivate.
The next series of these classes begin April 12th at 5:00PM
during our evening service.
2. Regularly attending, giving and serving at The Sanctuary.
3. Turning in a completed Partnership Application to me or at
our Welcome Center.
4. Meeting with me so we can have a casual conversation where we
get to know each other better as we discuss the items on
the Partnership Application.
If I can be of any help to you as you consider Partnership, please feel free to contact me either by phone at 661.252.7255 ext. 303 or through emailing me at email@example.com I would value the opportunity to schedule some time to connect with you!
Thankful for the Body of Christ,
- Pastor Zack
