PROJECT SCV | VALLEY VIEW
What if impacting the world was as simple as walking across the street? Well, it might be that simple. Or at least it can start there.
We have been reaching out to the elementary school across the street. Valley View Community school recently got a massive facility upgrade, but like anyone, their needs are deeper than structures and programs. That's where WE come in!
With Project SCV, The Sanctuary has been and will continue throughout the year to support specific events and projects with our finances, our abilities and our time. We are partnering with the faculty, the PTA and our own Project SCV leadership team in changing the lives of the kids and families at Valley View.
We continue looking for additional ways to come alongside them in more practical ways. This takes many volunteers, giving of one's time, to be on campus. We are looking for ways to serve in areas that will allow the teachers to spend more time with the students. As we continue to give of our finances, please consider signing up below. As areas of need are presented to us from Valley View we will contact your directly, letting you know when and where your hands and influence are needed.
Wondering where we got the inspiration to begin this journey? Check it out here.
For the month of June we will be giving our finances, beyond the tithe, to support the Santa Clarita based non-profit, Single Mothers Outreach. Their mission is to help single parents in our valley with support, training and practical assistance. As The Sanctuary, we are committed to tangibly show God’s love and care through strategic partnerships so that we might make a tangible impact in areas of great need in the SCV.
Watch below to hear about past projects as well as some of our efforts and the positive change we've been able to effect.
