PROJECT SCV | VALLEY VIEW & GOLDEN VALLEY

What if impacting the world was as simple as reaching out, just up the street? Well, it might be that simple. Or at least it can start there.

We have been reaching out to Valley View Elementary and Golden Valley High School in our very own neighborhood! Valley View Elementary recently got a massive facility upgrade and Golden Valley High just opened their P.A.W.S. Center, but their needs are deeper than structures and programs. That's where WE come in! With Project SCV, The Sanctuary has been, and will continue, throughout the year to support specific events and projects with our finances, our abilities and our time. We are continually looking for ways to come alongside these two schools to make a tangible impact.

OUR NOVEMBER FOCUS // Golden Valley High School P.A.W.S. Center

This month we will be giving, to come alongside students and families in our local high school that are facing significant challenges. We are asking each family to consider giving one or more of these needed items (shoes, socks, toiletries, and feminine products, jackets), in support of the Parents, Awareness, Workshops, & Support (P.A.W.S.) Center at Golden Valley High School, run by our very own April Rego (Director of Project SCV.) Items can be dropped off Sundays in services or during the week at our church offices.

Wondering where we got the inspiration to begin this journey? Check it out here.

Watch below to hear about past projects as well as some of our efforts and the positive change we've been able to effect.
