Church Health

At The Sanctuary, we passionately pursue health, both individually and collectively. We strive to see the following eight characteristics of health displayed, first, in who we are and then, secondly, in what we do:

1. Empowering Leadership

  • Leadership that equips, supports, motivates, and mentors individuals to become all that God wants them to be.

2. Gift-Oriented Ministry

  • Identifying member’s gifts and integrating them into ministries that match their gifts for greatest potential.

3. Passionate Spirituality

  • Faith lived out of commitment, fire and enthusiasm.

4. Functional Structures

  • Ministries that fulfill the purpose for which they were set up.

5. Inspiring Worship Service

  • The spirit of God and God’s love is experienced in the community of believers throughout the celebration.

6. Holistic Small Groups

  • Groups marked by intimate community, practical help, and intensive spiritual interaction.

7. Need Oriented Evangelism

  • Sharing the Good News by answering the questions and needs of those we are trying to reach.

8. Loving Relationships

  • Relationships that are characterized by a high degree of love and affection.
