The beauty of the body of Christ is often found in the people we wouldn't otherwise cross paths with in life because of geography, socio-economic factors, recreational preferences... this can often be exasperated by a fast pace of life, which is all too prevalent in Southern California. In Christ our differences are diminished and our commonalities are magnified. Where those 2 things collide magnificently in the Church is in our ethnic diversity.
At The Sanctuary we want to share the community and beauty resulting from that collision. One of the ways we celebrate our diversity AND unity is in our Hispanic community, El Santuario.
So, if you're looking for a place to connect at The Sanctuary and you:
- speak Spanish
- have a Hispanic family of origin
- have a Hispanic spouse... or sibling, or friend, or first cousin twice removed... you get the idea :-)
El Santuario is the place for you!
We get together for worship, sharing from the Bible and praying on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 7-9pm (USUALLY... so just stay tuned below for upcoming events) in the UTURN Building (Bldg. B). Note: gatherings are done in Spanish with kids welcome.
And be sure to stay tuned for other special events as we continue to grow!
Families are central to what we believe here, especially given how God designs us to pursue Him and become more like Christ in community... and specifically in families. As such, kids are welcome!
