If we could use a single word to describe Jeff and Lorraine Solomon, it would most likely be “endurance.” In many things they do, they seem to stick with it long-term.

Lorraine, Jeff, and their grown son Ryan have been attending the Sanctuary for around 19 years. Both Jeff and Lorraine has served in our CHAMPS ministry for the duration of that time, in addition to helping out in Audio/Visual and Worship ministries.

Jeff owns All American Marketing, a Santa Clarita based marketing merchandising company, and has for 23 years. Lorraine works with a local online company called “The Grocery Game.”

Lorraine and Jeff have also found a love for fitness, running and (recently) biking. Lorraine first began running two years ago prompted to start by her son Ryan. Jeff joined in on the running game several months later. Their passion and hard work has led them to distance running: Lorraine just completed the LA Marathon a few weeks ago, and Jeff is training to do the SCV half-marathon in a few months. Their journey towards running has forged a bond with a local runner’s group from Runner’s Lane, where they continue to connect with our city community.

As a family they enjoy traveling and collecting pets (3 dogs and 1 carnivorous cat). Jeff and Ryan have also been known to enjoy the motorcycle scene.

From their commitments at church, their family, their business, and their hobbies they have learned and emulate the values of consistency. When asked what our church family should know about them, they said “The hardest and best things in life take a long time to accomplish.” On this they enthusiastically describe a few instances where they brought ideas they loved to improve our church community.

In this family we can see a great part of the unity and diversity of the Body of Christ. We encourage you to snag Jeff and Lorraine on a Sunday to say “Hi”, connect with these folks over a love of running, swapping war-stories from the front-lines of Children’s Ministry or just to get to know them better.
