Our kids are facing BIG questions everyday.

Kids are searching for their identity. Who am I?

Kids are wrestling with friendships. How do I relate?

Kids are struggling with respect & obedience. How do I respond?

Kids are confused by hurt & pain. Why me?

Kids are choosing where they will go for healing. What now?

Kids are desiring something more. Where is hope?

Their answers to these questions today, will shape them for a lifetime. Who will be there for them? Who will walk alongside them?

Your child is ready to overcome these BIG challenges. God has INCREDIBLE plans for your child – He created them in His image. Your child has the potential to be a mover and shaker for the Kingdom of God, but the message they are hearing from the world is something very different. Who is going to speak the truth in their life?

No one has more potential to influence your child’s life than YOU, the parent.

You have the opportunity to direct your children to Christ for healing. Parents have the opportunity to remind children everyday about who God says they are.

You get to be there to release them to make decisions and help them up again when they fall. You have the opportunity to sit and listen to their long and silly stories.

If you expect your children to listen later, you have to be listening now; if you want your children to give you the time of day as they grow up, you have to give them time each day when they are young.

It is not about being a perfect parent, but about being honest with your child, because they already know you are not perfect, and directing them toward the one who is.

Then we face the reality that even though you have the most potential to influence your kids, your influence is still limited and the world is getting increasingly more effective at influencing your kids.

Parents, you will lose the fight if you face the challenges of parenting on your own.

You and your kids are facing BIG challenges each day, but you can’t face them on their own – so what is the answer to these BIG challenges?

The answer is small.

Small groups, that is.

What if there was a trusted leader speaking into your child’s life, confirming what you were already saying at home?

What if your child was developing deeper relationships with Christian friends?

What if your child had a curriculum they were walking through in a small group, which also gave you a context at home for deeper conversations?

What if you were connected to a larger community of Christian parents?

HAVING A SECOND VOICE SPEAK INTO YOUR CHILD’S LIFE AND CONFIRM WHAT YOU ARE ALREADY SAYING AT HOME WOULD FUNDAMENTALLY TURN THE TABLES AND GIVE YOUR FAMILY A COMMUNITY THAT WOULD PARTNER WITH YOU IN OVERCOMING LIFE’S BIG CHALLENGES.

This is exactly what we aim to accomplish through our Midweek Discipleship Program. Your kid’s are facing BIG challenges everyday and we believe that the answer is small.

The Midweek Discipleship Program is a small group program that meets from September through May. Each child is placed in a grade specific small group with a small group leader & works through an age appropriate book.

There are Parent Participation nights to help build community for parents & encourage them to take ownership of laying a spiritual foundation in their child’s life.

Oh, and we have a LOT OF FUN too (with EXCITING special events throughout the year)!

The program takes place September through May, from 6:45pm-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings. Registration is open now through the middle of August. It costs $85 and you can register on Sundays in the Grow On the Go Resource Center.

If you have questions about the program email us at CHAMPS@thesanctuarychurch.com.
