From its very inception, the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel has been dedicated to the cause of worldwide evangelism. It is what we were born to do; it is in our spiritual DNA. We evangelize, we plant churches, and we raise up leaders who will evangelize and plant more churches.

Foursquare Missions is a partnership between Foursquare churches in the U.S. and Foursquare national works overseas. The Los Angeles-based organization, commonly known as FMI (Foursquare Missions International), is a servant to both the Church in the U.S. and worldwide. FMI exists to help network resources, build relationships and give missions leadership where needed.

We do missions because it pleases the heart of God and fulfills His command! Take Foursquare missionaries Michael and Mary Jarrett for example who in 1998, they made a commitment to go to a foreign field where there was no Foursquare church. Because of their willingness to be used by the Holy Spirit, fruitfulness resulted and grew into 20 churches by 2000.

Why Foursquare Missions? Because our work will be multiplied as our Foursquare family works together! It's a well-known fact that as people work together, their individual efforts have a greater effect. Evangelism teams, for example, have lasting results when new believers are incorporated into a local church or church plant, where they are nurtured. So, working together with people all of the world maximizes the effectiveness of the gospel into bearing more fruit - fruit that will last for many generations in any culture.

"I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit - fruit that will last" (John 15:16).
